It is widely recognized that technology plays a very important role in countries economic development,industrialization and international competitiveness.İn every day life,on the other hand,latest products of science and technology astonish general public with their brilliance and leave them awestruct,excited,somewhat uncomprehended and alos a little frightened.Although some people feel annoyed and started to react to the growing negative and unwanted consequences of technological developments,they are more often considered progress,greatly mystified and hence unquestionably accepted.Unless faced with catastrophic failures,the nature and direction of technical changes,how and why they take the form they are in or what are design decisions that shape technologies ,are not questioned.Most people are not concerned with the social,culturel and ethical impact of technological changes.
