Proceedings of the Sixth International Wigner Symposium (Volume 2)

The Sixth International Wigner Symposium was held at Boğaziçi University which is located on one of the beautiful hills of the Bosphorus where the waters of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea mingle with each other. The contributions in all fields related to work in the style and spirit of Eugene P. Wigner are published in these two volumes. Contributions on conformal field theory, coherent states, field theory, gauge fields, group theory, gravitation and spacetime, mathematical methods in physics, methods of quantization are presented in volume 1, whereas volume 2 covers molecular and solid state physics, particle physics, quantum groups and noncommutative geometry, quantum mechanics, supersymmetry, and strings. The earthquake which occured six hours before the opening of the conference with an epicenter just 50 kilometers east of Istanbul took 17000 lives and shall be remembered by all participants.
