Wow... Öncelikle yaklaşık 1100 sayfalık bu kitap, nasıl içinde zayıf bir tane bölüm içermeden sona erer, bu kalınlıkta bir kitap nasıl bu kadar hızla ilerleyebilir, anlayabilmiş değilim. :) George Martin bu kitapla beraber hikaye anlatımında doruğuna ulaşmış olsa gerek.
Türü seven biriyseniz bu kitabı okurken kendinizi bu muhteşem hazırlanmış olay selinin önünde sürüklenmeye bırakacak, bunu yaparken de kah sinirden delirecek (kitabı duvarlara fırlatabiliyorsunuz mesela. :D), kah kahkaha atmaktan çatlayacak, kah sevinçten göbek atacak, kah yazardan nefret edecek (nasıl bu kadar iyi yazabilirsin, nefret ediyorum senden :D), kah da ağlayacak kadar hüzünleneceksiniz.
Neyse kitabı yeni bitirmenin gazıyla yazılmış bu değerlendirmeyi fazla uzatmayayım. A Storm of Swords, bitmek tükenmek bilmeyen dönüm noktaları, hikayenin akışına yeni katılan heyecan verici karakterleri (Oberyn Martell'e saygılar...), mükemmel yapılmış POV seçimleri, içinde kaybolayım da hiç dışına çıkamayayım diyeceğiniz heyecan fırtınası, ustalıkla örülmüş politik oyunlarıyla epik fantezi türünün en güçlü kitaplarından biri olmayı sonuna kadar hak ediyor benim acizane şahsıma göre.
